Wedding & Pregnancy

I am not a fan of local actress Judy Ann Santos but I admire the way she kept her "silent wedding " with her long time boyfriend Ryan Agoncillo away from the public and the press or media to achieve a solemn & peaceful wedding. Only people really close to them were invited and the principal sponsors consisted of low profile individuals. I can't help but compare Juday's wedding with that of Ruffa Gutierrez. The latter had the grandest wedding every girl will dreamed of. High profiled celebrities and politicians were present but sad to say, Ruffa's marriage didn't last. Now her petition for annulment is on going in Turkey. She also filed full custody of her kids, Lorin & Venice.

I hope Judy Ann started a trend through her "Silent Wedding style". Now they are working on having a baby to complete the family. Talks about her infanticipating spread in the newspapers are all untrue and false alarm. I suggest that she read books and surf the net to get tips about natural way to get pregnant.

Child Custody

Actress TV host Ruffa Gutierrez have filed petition for full custody of her two daughters, Lorin & Venice. It can be remembered that the wedding of Ruffa Gutierrez and Yilmaz Bektas was labeled as wedding of the year. Famous people from showbiz & politics gathered for the said occassion and Ruffa was pregnant with Lorin at that time and Venice followed before Lorin celerated her first birthday.

They were a picture of a perfect family for a while, however, some good things never last. The separation of Ruffa & Yilmaz was quite a controversy, showbiz reporters feasted on the issue until it subsided. Now that Ruffa realized there is no chance for reconciliation, she filed for annulment and full custody of their children.

If I were in the shoe of Ruffa, I will do the same, to file full custody of my kids and if it happens I am not financially capable to do such, I would seek the help of lawsuit loans.

Anylawsuits aims to provide at providing the required funds that would help finance the ongoing lawsuit. For further info, visit You Want To Win Your Child Custody Case

Initial post for 2009

First, my apology for not updating my blog. This serves as my initial post for 2009. Like everyone else, I got too busy with the holidays and was engrossed with family bonding. Hubby arrived Dec. 10 and stayed for one month so it's perfectly justifiable to temporarily cease myself from blogging, meeting with friends and even working. Yes, I filed a planned leave for 2 weeks and it seems it wasn't enough.

I could sense from my hubby's face how happy & contented he was to be able to spend Christmas & New Year with me & his kids and also his relatives and what made it more exciting is to finally see in person the little house we have built (we moved there last September). Now, we are gradually working on the finishings of the house and the next time he comes home for Christmas, he'll witness a more beautiful newly painted abode.

We weren't able to go to other places like out of town due to family bonding and gatherings that are left & right. We got busy inviting relatives over to our new house. The only instance hubby and I spent time together alone was when we dined out at Rumpa Restaurant and watched "Iskul Bukul: The Reunion" after lunch at Kenny Rogers in SM.

John went back to Qatar last January 10 but he'll start working tomorrow. One time when I got home, CJ told me that he missed his Dada and hubby was so touched when I told him about it. While I was in SM last Monday, I suddenly missed John too because while he was here, we're often in SM to do grocery shopping.

Things are getting back to normal slowly. We all have to move on. We have to be thankful we had the opportunity to spend the happiest occasions as one family.

Regularly updating my blog from now on is one of my New Year's resolution and I'm certainly ready for that task.

Happy Year of the Ox Everyone!

Marriage in Bliss

John and I had a whirlwind relationship. We met February of 1998 and after a month of courtship we got officially “on” and celebrated our first monthsary April 27, 1998. Six months after, we got married in a civil rites (no church wedding followed up to this time) and today we are on our 10th year wedding anniversary.

Like any other marriage, we had our ups & downs, we faced so many emotional, physical and financial challenges especially when hubby was forced to resign from their company after 7 years of loyal service. There came a point that we almost gave up on each other but because of true love and God being the center of our relationship, we surpassed the trials.

Marriage is a lifetime partnership. There is no better or more important role, both the wife and the husband plays a significant role in building a family. Learn to say sorry when you are at fault, communicate your deepest feelings to your partner (keeping secret from your partner is a big NO), set goals for the family together and thank God for your partner. These are just some of the important lessons I learned for the past 10 years I've been I married.

I can never imagine myself being married to someone else other than John. Hubby is God fearing, loving and selfless. He is my friend, partner, confidante, critic and adviser. I can’t thank God enough for giving me a husband like John. I'm overjoyed God gave us CJ & Acey to complete the family.
