Miss You Like Crazy

My daughter Acey and I have watch the film "Miss You Like Crazy" yesterday in Robinson. All I can say is that John Lloyd & Bea Alonzo are perfect partners on screen. I like the fact they did not have a second thought to portray mature roles this time. Yes, there were kissing scenes but was done in good taste. It's so obvious in the said movie that both have given their best in their acting and have met the expectation of the great director Cathy Garcia Molina, needless to say, I'm a huge fan of direct Cathy. I have watch 90% of the movies she directed.

It's still weekend and if you're not busy, I highly recommend you watch "Miss You Like Crazy", it's time to feel in love even if it is only by watching this film.

You Changed My life

Yes, I've watched the film " You Changed My Life" with my daughter Acey last Saturday in Robinson's Cinema. It was a mother-daughter bonding time. We enjoyed the said movie immensely. I saw my girl smiling and giggling whenever Migs & Laida (played by John Llloyd & Sarah Geronimo respectively) would tease each other and exchange sweet nothings. This sequel is a lot better than "A Very Special Love". I commend the director of the movie Cathy Garcia-Molina who consistently live up to the expectations of the film viewers like me. Movies such as this can easily entice me to get up from bed early even if I lack sleep due to graveyard shift.

StarStruck!

After their successful teleserye "Lobo", Piolo Pascual & Angel Locsin were teamed up in a movie "Land Down Under" which will be shown early next year. Most part of the movie was shot in Australia & Bukidnon.Three days ago, an officemate told us that Piolo & Angel are shooting in Clark Museum, few meters away from our office. We got thrilled with the news and hurriedly went to the location shooting. When we got to the venue, the friendly StarCinema crews were busy arranging the props & camera lights while Angel & Piolo are resting in their respective room.

Pao and I patiently waited for the leadstars for a possible souvenir photo with them, something we can show & brag with our officemates. Angel came out unexpectedly looking for her personal assistant, we almost scream due to excitement like any other fan seeing local celebrities in person. We ask for souvenir photo but she showed us she's barefooted, indirectly saying she's not ready for some picture taking. After a short while, she came back to give us positive signal. We didn't waste a single second, we came running to her...Oh boy...she's beautiful, sexy & accomodating. I admit, I was startrucked!!!

Me, Angel & Pao

We waited for Piolo to no avail. It was already time to go back to the office but before doing so, Ricky Davao was in one corner busy finishing his meal for the day and so I ask my officemates who followed us in the location shooting to approach him for souvenir shots, we did the same to the boy who's name I'm not familiar but we are certain he's a Going Bulilit mainstay.

with Ricky Davao (character actor)

with Goin' Bulilit talent

I'm not the type of fan who will go & follow their idols, spend money to watch every film they make, collect their magazine pictures for some scrapbooking BUT it's fun to be jologs once in a while.

The Mummy

August 01 was an enjoyable day to all employees in our company because it was our General Assembly and everybody was treated to a free movie with popcorn & large drinks. Our company rented one cinema in SM Clark and all employees were invited, however, because our company is open 24/7, others who were still on duty didn't make it to the said event. After watching the film, exciting prizes were raffled off and I did not win any...pout.

We watch the movie "The Mummy". I didn't get to see the 2 previous Mummy movies but still I enjoyed the said film. For me, it's an action pack film but some of the scenes were far from reality. What I enjoyed most were the punchlines from the lead characters and some funny scenes. The cinematography is awesome and all the actors involved were great too. Oh, I love the gorgeous body of Brendan Fraser.

Looking forward to watching "A Very Special Love" within this week.

When Love Begins

My friend Ednalee and I have watched the movie "When Love Begins" last Tuesday after work, starring the forever young looking Aga Muhlach and the reigning box office leading lady Anne Curtis. We were able to catch the 5:05 viewing time.

We bought 4 slices of hawaiian flavored pizza from Pizzahut (2 each) & 2 large size of refreshing Iced Tea from Go Nuts Donuts.

We enjoyed watching the film while relishing the pizza then drink the iced tea.

Life is sooo good.

My Big Love

I just got home very happy, why? Well, I watched “My Big Love” with my friend Josielyn. My shift today was from 5am ‘til 2:45pm. I’ve been bugging Josielyn to accompany me & watch the said film. Good thing her husband would permit her to go, especially when I’m her company.

I never failed to watch Sam Milby and Toni Gonzaga’s movies, from “Your Are The One” to “You Got Me” to “ My Big Love”, all of them were blockbusters. The first 2 were directed by my favorite Cathy Garcia Molina. Sam Milby is a sweet hunk with irresistible smile while Toni Gonzaga is a consistent versatile actress. Surprisingly, this time in “My Big Love”, Sam & Toni kissed, ooops, it’s not a passionate kiss just a smack. If I were Toni, I wouldn’t mind have a torrid kissing scene with Sam, not at all…haha.

Kristine Hermosa was also one of the main characters and oh boy, she’s so pretty!!! I don’t like her as much as I like Toni, but her physical beauty is undeniable. She and Diether makes beautiful pair, they are just perfect for each other, so I think Oyo Boy should find someone else.

Going back to the movie, the story was about an obese played by Sam who fell in love with a beautiful girl (that’s Kristine) who is very conscious about her health and would always want to stay fit. When the 2 finally met, the girl was completely disappointed and the boy was hurt deeply with the reaction of the other party. Aira, played by Tony, on the other hand, was to the rescue. She urged Sam to avail of her services as personal fitness trainer and initially, Sam didn’t like the idea but later on, the two had fun with the fitness program and built a deep friendship until Toni has to leave for Japan for her personal goals. Sam continued the diet and fitness stuff until he became a cover boy. He & Kristine fell in love but when Toni came back from Japan, Sam realized that it is Toni who really makes him happy. As expected, it was a happy ending.

I will remember the 5 principles or values, whatever you call them that Toni, as personal fitness trainer, would inculcate to her trainees and they are the following:

1. Goal Setting.
2. Don’t start later or tomorrow, start NOW.
3. No shortcuts.
4. Be inspired.
5. Be happy.

I’ve been wanting to lose weight. I would start going to the gym but if I find an excuse to stop, I won’t have a second thought cease the diet or the program and I always fail, that’s probably because, I don’t have the 5 principles stated above. I wish the next time I decide to lose weight, I’ll keep in mind the 5 principles to keep me going.

Movie Day!

My kids and I went to Robinson's Mall yesterday to watch The Bee Movie, unfortunately, it’s no longer showing. We watched “Alvin and the Chipmunks” instead. It’s my treat to them for a couple of days stress due to Third Periodical test. We got the tickets & bought pop corn. Since the viewing already started, we got the seats and I left CJ & Acey for a few minutes so I could buy sodas and some more chips. They enjoyed the movie while I wasn’t able to watch everything ‘coz I have to run to the supermarket and kept on replying to the text of my friends. It’s fine with me as long as my kids had fun watching “Alvin & the Chipmunks”.

When we got home, my mom called and invited us for dinner in McDonalds. So we quickly went to meet her. Afterwards, we decided to visit my auntie who just got out of the hospital, along with my brother and his family. We got home past 10 pm.

Enchanted

I've been wanting to watch One More Chance which is still showing in SM Clark Cinema. I have decided to bring my daughter with me to watch the said romantic film and leave CJ with his favorite Tito Clark. I texted my brother in law, unfortunately, he won't be available to take care of my son. The three of us headed to SM Clark and CJ chose the movie Enchanted. I'll just watch One More Chance in DVD.

We got the tickets at 2:15pm, showing starts at 2:40pm so we quickly went to SM hypermarket to buy drinks & chips. I thought I won't enjoy the film but I was wrong. We attentively watch it from start to finish.

It's a classic disney animation film that is perfectly done. I was thinking Princess Giselle and Prince Edward will end up together and live happily ever after like the usual fairy tales stories. What actually happened was swapping of partners. Princess Giselle fell in love with flawed divorce lawyer Robert Philip while exploring the city of New York whereas Prince Edward married Nancy, the ex fiance' of Robert.

The movie is full of humor especially when Nathaniel and the chipmunk would clash. All the actors involved were great in their respective roles. Amy Adams' voice is amazing. The setting is fascinating especially when Robert & Princess Giselle were happily strolling in the park. Indeed, a film worthwatching.
