Family Reunion 2009

The annual Dizon Family reunion was held yesterday. This is the time we bond with our relatives on my father side and we usually do it on Black Saturday yearly . My father and his siblings take turns in hosting the event and this time we were task to take care of the reunion, it’s sort of welcoming the relatives in the newly built house of my parents and also mine. The whole family planned it so well. Me & my mom contacted a caterer, my brother was in charge of the tables & chairs plus the karaoke. My sister in law thought of the parlor games and made sure there are prizes for winners while my father ensured that relatives are well informed of the time and date of the reunion. At 5pm, visitors started coming in, each family are bringing in food they personally cooked to add to the catered food we have on the table. Yours truly hosted the entire program that started at exactly 6pm. Young and adults participated in the games. The hephep hurray wherein the concept was from WoWoWee, we chose the elderly to do the game while Maria Went to Town has 2 competing group, each group consist of 4 females & 1 male participants. The girls will transform the boy into BeBe Gandanghari, both games was definitely a hit. The game participants & the whole crowd were laughing out loud. The event ended at 9:30pm.
Organizing event such as family reunion can be stressful but with teamwork, there’s no room for failure. But the one we organized last night was a huge success. Everybody went home happy. The purpose of the reunion was executed that evening.

Furniture Finds

When hubby and I got married, the very first item we bought was a bed which up to now is something that we use. Hubby told me to replace it since we’ve been using it for over 10 years and naughtily said that CJ & Acey were made on that bed. But it’s not easy for me to let go of that bed, like any typical Filipina wife, that bed has a sentimental value. On the second thought, especially now that we’re living in our new house, I realized it’s about time we change bed. Payday Loans is the answer

The company where my husband is currently working was hit by global financial crisis. Right now, they are inconsistently receiving salary. I can’t help but get worried because it’s going to be my kid’s enrollment third week of April. I do not want to bother my husband about this matter even if I know this is a shared responsibility.
