Birthday Bash!

Our sexy and pretty friend, Toots, treated us with a sumptuous dinner at Xtremely Expresso last November 26 as she celebrated her birthday last November 28. We had the resto's ever famous pizza, Big Ben, the fall-off-the-bones and very delicious Baby Back ribs, Seafoods Nut-Pesto, Ceasar Salad, and Turkey sandwich. Binge-eating is the right term since we ate like there was no tomorrow. Everybody had a great time. After relishing a sumptous dinner at Extremely Expresso we ordered coffee in Starbucks right across the said resto.

To the birthday girl - thanks for this great dinner! Our wish for you is that may you find the right guy who would love and care for you for the rest of your life.

Family Bonding at Marquee Mall

As promised, I brought my kids to Marquee Mall last Sunday afternoon (Nov. 29). First, we went to the toy section of Metro Department Store, then to Toys R Us so my kids will give me an idea what xmas gift they want, but Acey got confused at first, she can't decide which Christmas toy gift she really prefers so I helped her decide and stick with Disney Princesses dolls and it should be the three of them...Snowhite, Cinderella & Sleeping Beauty. While CJ is choosing between Ben10 action figures preferably Big Chill and Dinosaurs collectible items and it's name should start with letter A (that's how specific my son is). So now I know what, which and where to buy those gifts. I treated them to McDonals afterwards, coke float is their forever favorite. We dropped by at the supermarket while waiting for the chicken McDo & coke float to digest and the most fun part for my kids is letting them play in the play area. Seeing them having a blast is truly my heart's happiness!

MarQuee Mall

I went to Marquee Mall yesterday, the newest mall in Angeles City, this belongs to the Ayalas. I was alone and I was curious if the architectural design and the stores are similar to the one in Ayala Cebu. I was glad with what I saw and I was happier to see StarMagic talents in the activity area led by Tayong Dalawa lead stars Gerald Anderson, Kim Chiu and Jake Cuenca. I have watch Kapuso stars in Robinsons in Balibago Angeles City before and I can say that StarMagic talents are far better than Kapuso stars in terms hosting, entertaining people & talent. I was amazed to see the production numbers that they prepared for the fans, the same prod numbers they do in ASAP show. The number of hours you have to wait standing is all worth it.

I'm back!

It's been over a month since my last update here in my blog. I was on hiatus temporarily because I got busy participating in the "Love to Watch, Love to Bid" promo of QTV 11 and I didn't win, I can hear spoiled brat Angelina shouting "Such a Loser!!!" right in my face. But that’s fine, more freebies are up for grabs in the QTV promo in the coming months.

I visit other blogs once in a while, especially food blogs. You know how much I love to learn new recipes. Everyday, I ‘m tuned in to Quickfire & My Favorite Recipes before I help my mom prepare dinner. Proud to say I’m able to execute some of the recipes, in fact, I made chicken waldorf salad & potato skin during my son’s recent birthday celebration and my in laws were impressed. I wanna try making Mango Custard cake and Bread Budding one of these days.

Aside from the QTV contest , learning new recipes & being a TV addict, I’m also busy being a mom and a QA Analysts. I realized I missed so many opps, so now I’m back to blogging and that’s a promise.

CJ is 10

My son CJ turned 10 years old last August 09 which happens to be Sunday, family day. CJ accompanied me in Robinson's supermarket on Saturday to buy ingredients and treated him in Jollibee. He craved for jolly chicken & spaghetti. When I woke up Sunday morning, I suddenly saw the face of my son with the sweetest smile I've ever seen in my entire life, I greeted and kissed him. Then we went to church and again to Robinson's Supermarket to complete the ingredients.

The Birthday Boy

I decided to cook birthday food such as spaghetti, cheese lumpia and my new recipes chicken waldorf salad I've been wanting to copy from the blog I frequently visit plus potato skin which I got the idea from Subdelicious pizza house and blogger Connie. My mom bought the birthday cake and cooked chicken.

Goldilocks cake & Asadong Chicken care of my mom

We invited his cousins since it's been a while we haven't bond with them. He treasure the K-Zone magazine that my sister in law gave him.

It was tiring because you entertain guest, fix the food in the table & wash the dishes at the same time but I'm happy to see the joy in CJ's face.

Baby Nicole

Yesterday, my niece Nicole turned one. If you remember, I took care of baby Nicole when her mom (my youngest sister) left the country for Qatar with a heavy heart because she has to leave baby Nicole temporarily. I was Nicole’s mom for the entire time she was here while her parents were trying to complete the necessary documents for her Visa. Last January Nicole’s dad came home to fetch her and they flew to Qatar the next month. We miss her so much but I am truly happy knowing the fact she’s in the loving arms of her own and real mom. Now she is one year old and her birthday party was held yesterday in a restaurant in Qatar.

Happy birthday baby Nicole. We miss you. See you next year:)

We had our teambuilding last Friday (July 10) and spent a whole day in Zoobic Safari in Subic. When our team leaders was organizing it, I didn't feel any excitement because I've been to a couple of zoo everytime I accompany my kids in their educational trip. I thought I won't enjoy the teambuilding but I was completely wrong.

Assembly time was at 6am and exactly after an hour the team is complete and off we went to the destination. The travel is for an hour instead of 30 to 45 minutes. We took the SCTex way (Subic Clark Tarlac expressway), the bus is second class and it's a bit slow.

The Safari tour package that our company chose for us included our lunch and entrance fee. We did not enjoy the food in Safari Grill. If you plan to go to Zoobic Safari, I suggest that you go there with full stomach and have lunch or snack outside after the tour.

The best part is the drive thru and close encounters with the tigers wherein humans are inside the cage while tigers would come near you to grab fresh chicken that you can buy inside the zoo. Also, riding the choo choo train and pass in the territory of long necked ostrich.

After the tour, we had lunch in Safari grill, then played Pinoy Henyo and Amazing Race. We were all dead tired and hungry after the games.

This was another memorable teambuilding and teambonding, it was tiring but we all enjoyed it immensely.

Web Directories

The main reason why I engage in blogging is to generate extra income. I envy my officemates earning extra bucks doing article writing, however, since I do not have much time I can dedicate in article writing, I tried to discover another means of augmenting my income and there I found out about paid blogging. I signed up with blogspot and started posting everyday, met a lot of people and made friends. I also signed up with different blogging directories. However, I noticed no matter how updated I am with my blog, still, I seldom receive projects or opps and this is quite frustrating.

There are bloggers who would unselfishly share tips on how you can optimize your page rank which is one factor in order for you to get projects or opps and earn. It is suggested you visit other blogs or websites and exchange links with them, another and the best way is to submit your blog or website in web directories. Fortunately, you don’t have to shell out some cash just to sign up with web directories because there are free web directories you can find in the internet, it’s a matter of choosing the best web directories even if it is for free.

I chanced upon Jasmine Directory, a powerful and efficient business web directory. Submitting your blog or website in web directories is an effective mechanism to reach the widest range of visitors possible. At Jasmine Directory each link is thoroughly researched and must adhere to a strict and demanding criteria of information fluency and currency. Information and topics are well organized through categories for easy and faster access.

Please note there are also commonly used web directories you can register to, one example of which is Yahoo directory and

You may not know the advantage and usefulness of registering your website to web directories until you try it yourself.

Select the Best Insurance Plan

Or company is under a different management for more than two years now, since then, there were changes in the benefit and compensation package, honestly and admittedly, the previous management is a lot better than the current one in terms of benefits, compensation & trainings. Every quarter, as employees, we are requested to fill out the Employee Satisfaction Survey so the management would know how & where to improve.

Everytime I do the survey, I always say not to change our current health insurance started by the previous management. I am happy and contented with the comprehensive health coverage we are getting from the health insurance we have now. Believe it or not, some employees decided to stay in the company just because of the health insurance being provided by the company because our family or dependents are also covered. If your spouse or one of your kids get sick, you immediately bring them to the doctor or nearest hospital without having to worry of paying the hospital bills, furthermore, medicines amounting to a maximum of five thousand pesos is also part of the package even if it is just out patient.

A couple of months from now, our health insurance coverage will expire and I’m hoping the management will decide to renew the contract on the same health insurance company, otherwise, they should devote time in the health insurance plan selection & comparison process to make a wise decision.

Puto't Bibingka

I tried to cook putu't bibingka 2 Sundays ago using White King puto & bibingka mix I bought in my favorite supermarket. The puto was done perfectly but the bibingka was overcooked because I run out of foil that should be used as top cover of the bibingka. Nevertheless, the whole family ate everything in seconds.

What Happened?

I was so happy to find out this week that this blog reached a Page Rank 2. I've work so hard to maintain and update this blog on a regular basis. I bloghop and made friends. I make it a point to reply to the comments of those bloggers who visit my blog, I continue to exchange links with other bloggers and by doing so, my pagerank and Alexa increased giving me the opportunity to earn through the opps I receive everyday.

Imagine my surprise to see my page rank go back to ZERO this morning!? Unbelievable!!! Truly appalling!!!So many questions popped up in my mind...what went wrong? what could have happened? is it because it's the start of the month that's why my page rank will have to start to zero? Will Google be able to answer my questions if I try to get in touch with them? Can they bring back my PR2?

Probably my fellow bloggers can shed light on this issue. Do you guys know the answer/s?

I'm confused & exasperated.

Used Car Hunting

For somebody like me who can not afford to buy brand new car, I'll settle for used car or second hand car. I prefer a used honda civic car. There is an easy way for me to determine whether a used car will still be in good running condition for several years before purchasing it. My father owns a machine shop and has a friend with mechanic expertise. They can tell if the asking price of the seller of the used car is reasonable or if the used car will still last for several years through road test, regardless if it is a luxury car like Used Mercedes Cars or any other brand. By the way, the easiest way to hunt for used or second had car is through

Addicting Dark Chocolates

I have sweet tooth and I so love chocolates, whether it’s a chocolate bar or Chocolate Candies. Whenever I do my grocery every weekends, I make it a point to buy one chocolate bar or a slice of sinful cake and I would eat it while I watch my favorite shows. Aside from a relaxing massage in my favorite Spa clinic, eating chocolate is another way to release my stress and sometimes my depression. My hubby make it a point to bring home galaxy chocolates from Qatar and lately I noticed myself indulging in dark chocolates and I would love to try Gertrude Hawk dark chocolate especially their dark chocolate covered strawberries.

MYA & An Amazing New You

The FHM Philippines will feature the 100 sexiest women in their July issue, the alluring Cristine Reyes is on top of the list. On the cover is one hot mama Aubrey Miles wearing nothing except for a handshped mud to cover her breast. Aubrey Miles gave birth to her son with Troy Montero few months ago but her shape will make all other women insecure. You may say she is gifted for having flat abs even after giving birth but Aubrey must admit she did her part to maintain a sexy figure. She probably exercise regularly and watch the food she eats.

On the contrary, it is impossible for other women to regain their original figure after giving birth and some celebrities like Claudine Baretto will consult cosmetic surgeons. I told myself I will never undergo cosmetic surgery just to achieve a celebrity like figure if I happen to have the money. However, my decision will be different if MYA Cosmetic Surgery will handle my breast uplift and tummy tuck and other physical improvements. MYA employs skilled & professional surgeons, furthermore, this company is well known & respected in the field of cosmetic surgery, therefore, I am confident I'm in good hands and ready to see an amazing new me.

Making Time for Family

Making Time for Family
By Mimi Kight

Be Intentional

Times have changed since most families had two parents, a mom who stayed home and a Dad who worked nine to five. Families today are more complex. Single parents, dual-income families, a bajillion after-school activities, and in-house distractions like computers, Play Stations®, and the like mean that time together as a family isn't going to just happen. You have to make it happen.

Plan time together and insist the kids attend. This might make you unpopular at times. But think about your favorite childhood memories and you'll realize that most of them center around time spent with your family. Be committed to making family time a priority. Then, be creative about making it happen.

Quality and Quantity

When kids are asked the question, "What makes a happy family?" the response is almost unanimous, "Spending time together." According to experts, the myth that a large quantity of time can be replaced by less-frequent "quality" time just isn't true. Karen Dockrey, author of Bold Parents, Positive Teens (Waterbrook) puts it this way, "Daily time is irreplaceable. Five minutes every day is better than five hours on Saturday or a big family trip. The bigger chunks of time are only effective if there's already a relationship as a result of daily time together."

It's up to you to discover when that time works best for your family. Maybe it's at breakfast, on the drive to school, or just before bed, when things slow down a bit.

Eat Together

Okay, dinner seven nights a week isn't practical for most of us. But university researchers at Penn State, Harvard, and Depaul agree that children who grow up in a home where parents and kids sit down to eat together three or four times a week are less likely to experiment with drugs and alcohol and less likely to engage in premarital sex. They even found a correlation between family meals and success in school.

Meals are a time to share your day, to plan family outings, to air any beefs that crop up during the week. But be careful to keep things fun and light. Don't use meal time as a chance to reprimand the kids or harp on table manners while you have a captive audience. Keep distractions like TV or telephones to a minimum. In fact, it's a good idea to place a moratorium on all electronics until the meal is over.

Pray Together

In Matthew 18:20, Jesus promises, "For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst." I think this goes double for families. At least I know that some of the most powerful answers to prayers in my life have come after I've knelt with my husband and kids and prayed together. More than a quick blessing before meals, prayer time can be a time to connect with each other's hearts and see what's really important and weighing on each other's minds. Pray on your way to school in the morning or before bed at night. Keep a prayer calendar where you can keep track of special prayer requests and concerns. Be sure to praise together when the answers are given.

One-on-One Time

Before we had kids of our own, my husband and I took careful note of the way my sister and her husband raised their five children. One thing they did that we promised we'd continue is one-on-one time, each parent with each child. Now that we have four kids of our own, they'll tell you that some of their best memories are of a day at the zoo with Dad or an afternoon wandering through antique shops with Mom.

Getting a child alone, away from the natural competition that comes from siblings, relaxes something within him. You'll be amazed how well you'll get to know this burgeoning young person when it's just the two of you for an entire day.

Don't Compete with Electronics

Instead of allowing TVs, DVDs, and computers to take away from family time, try using them to enhance it. Rent a family movie and sit down to watch it together. I've started collecting DVDs of my favorite childhood TV shows and share them with the kids. Gilligan's Island is a favorite. Find an Xbox® game you and your kids enjoy and hold a family tournament. With new advances in home entertainment technology every day, how can a parent hope to compete for their family's attention? You don't have to. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

CPAP Machines

I'm still on graveyard shift and I only had 3 hours of sleep, that was from 9am-12nn. I tried to sleep again but I just couldn't because it was unbearably hot. I need an aircondition room and CPAP Machines to achieve a restful and sound sleep. I heard CPAP machines cost less and sometimes free. I'm going to search about it once done with this post.

Avail of Discount Dancewear

One of the local celebrities I admire is Regine Tolentino. Aside from being a wife and a mom to 2 kids, she’s also a host, dancer and choreographer and a business woman. In fact she is the one designing and providing dance costumes to all celebrity participants in Lucy Torres long running program “Shall We Dance” from ABC channel 5. She revealed in one of her interviews that she developed her skill in clothes designing through her fondness of Barbie doll collections which we all know have elegant dresses. On the same note, Capezio, one of the world’s largest dance wear supplier, is giving away Discount Dancewear. So if a dance studio where your son or daughter is currently enrolled, you can suggest to get dance wear from Capezio at affordable and discounted prices.

Five Towns Homes

My friend Pao started her sideline as real estate broker last year and I am amazed at the amount of commissions she earned and continue to earn. She would excitedly tell me about her clients and successful deals. Through real estate business, she was able to save up for the equity of the unit she bought in the newest subdivision in town. I envy her work and earnings as real estate broker but I am not planning to venture on the same business at this time. I am happy with paid blogging and my regular office work. My good friend Pao encouraged me to make referrals and after every successful referral, she’ll give me a reasonable commission, sounds great to me.

I voluntarily accompany her in some of her trippings. This is where she brings her clients in the subdivisions she thinks would pass the criteria of her client and show model houses within that specific subdivision.

Pao is now in the process of creating her own website to where some of her busy clients can check houses, lots, condominiums or townhouses available for sale or for rent similar to Five Towns Homes for Sale website. This will be convenient for real estate broker and prospective client at the same time.

With Five Towns Homes, you can be assured you are dealing with trusted real estate agents. They have connections to help both buyer and seller in entire transaction and make it a point it is a successful deal.

Friday Sickness

The moment my eldest CJ set foot at our house gate last Friday when he got home from school, he told me “Mama, I’m not feeling well”. I noticed his husky voice in the morning of that same day while preparing for school and I knew it will lead to colds & fever. I helped him change his clothes and I ask him to rest while I prepare his dinner. After eating, he took the needed medicines, Dimetapp and Dolan for his colds and fever respectively. I gave him a relaxing massage using lavender oil I bought in Robinson supermarket months ago. Funny thing is, my kids would sometimes pretend to be not feeling well just so they can avail of my relaxing massage service…hehehe. They love the soothing feeling after a massage from me.

With the AH1N1 pandemic, I get paranoid whenever my kids get sick even with the slightest fever although I knew that it was because of the rains that happened in the past days. I brought CJ to his pedia the next day and he prescribed ventolin expectorant in addition to the medicines he is already taking because CJ started to have dry cough and also to help avoid bronchitis from developing.

Today is Monday and I didn’t allow CJ attend school. He needed more rest probably until tomorrow.

Lotto Results through Phone

Whenever I have nothing to do or when I’m commuting on the way to work , I day dreamed of winning in the lottery and spending my winnings. One thing for sure is my whole family will travel in and out of the country, establish franchise businesses and as a way of giving back for the fortune I receive, I’ll be giving out scholarships to kids willing to finish highschool and college.

I do bet in the lottery once in a while and when I do, I can’t wait for the result to come out wishing I’m one of the lucky winner of the powerball winning numbers. There are several ways to know the result aside from watching TV and read news papers. You can now can get lottery numbers results directly to your phone. Any subscriber can know if the numbers are winning numbers in seconds after the daily lottery draws. Isn’t that cool?

Boise Painting

I’ve been blogging about my goal to have my house painted after rainy season or before the year ends. I’ve also been visiting websites about home & style & reading home magazines to get an idea of what paint color I want for every area of the house. I noticed what’s in nowadays are pastel colors paint. I prefer our master bedroom to be dominantly beige in color with a little touch of brown color in it to achieve a zen & neat look. I’m still confused what color I like in my kids’ room and the living room as well. In fact, I have cut outs of areas of the house with paints that I want to copy.

I’ll ask my brother to help me find a skilled painter to do the house painting. Of course, I do not want my money to be wasted, my husband’s approval and satisfaction is one of my considerations too. Neighbors & acquaintances volunteered to do the job but I won’t take the risk. I want an experienced & knowledgeable painter. If budget permits, Boise Painting will be a great idea to ensure success of the house paint job and full satisfaction on my part.

I can not wait to accomplish this goal and I can not wait to see a dramatic transformation of my house.

My Homebuilder

My sister used to work in one of the home builders here in Pampanga and while my house was still under construction, my sister would accompany me to buy materials such as vinyl tiles, toilet bowls and fawcets and get big discounts. I did not bother to check materials and prices from other homebuilders because usually home builders are located in the same street and they offer the same prices. With the home builder that my sister used to work for, they offer wide array of selection, also, people working there who happens to be friends of my sister are kind enough to educate me of the difference of materials with different brands, thus helping me decide with my choices. Knowledgeable staff and quality materials is what new home builders winston salem offers to its current & prospective buyers.

Goodbye to the King of Pop

Before I went home from work this morning at around 6am, I learned that Michael Jackson, the King of Pop died of cardiac arrest through the AOL Welcome screen. It was actually Pao who learned the shocking news. She was reading about the passing of Farrah Fawcet and the headline was changed to the death of Michael Jackson.

Jacko's personal & career life has been controversial. He was also involved in scandals like child molestation but nobody's perfect afterall. I think Michael Jackson deserves our love & respect for making so many people happy with his songs, energetic & awsome performances not to mention his incomparable contributions to the music industry.

Thank you and Goodbye Jacko. Your music will forever be remembered.

For Arts Sake

My kids are aware that I hate to draw, can't even draw an apple image, worst, even I can't appreciate my own drawing which is why when I need to help my daughter with her assignment and it requires me to draw, oh boy, it feels like forever to finish the assignment. No wonder why Acey is not fond of drawings too. My eldest CJ, can not draw what is being ask in his assigment like " a kid keeping the room clean" or "a kid praying before bedtime'" but he is good at drawing anime and superheroes, maybe because it is something he enjoys watching.

I can dance, I can act but I must admit I do not have talent in fine arts although I can appreciate paintings or drawings in canvass or any framed artwork like the Victoria Montesinos. I also look forward of having the opportunity to attend art gallery exhibits. I love to see flowers framed art work hanged in our living room while I prefer wall decals in our bedrooms. When we were still living in an apartment, I bought a few frames and my helper then observed and asked me why all the drawings in the frame I bought are all flowers and I actually do not know the answer. So now that I have my own house and when I have the budget to have it painted, I will buy frames that will complement the color of the paint and it doesn't have to be flower drawings this time.

Beware of Sex Offenders

Todays technology such as computer & internet is such a huge help to everyone. It makes life easy. However, no one & nothing is perfect. Recently, the Hayden Sex Video scandal is all over the internet and it has put local actress Katrina Halili and other girls in the limelight in a shameful and negative way. Now the issue is in the court and it still uncertain if justice will be achieved on the part of Katrina Halili if it was said there has been no law or bills submitted in the congress with regard to this issue.

Even in chats and blogs, there are insane people who will leave you with sex offending messages meant to destruct or annoy you. Fortunately, sex offender report website was created and available to protect anyone and everyone especially our kids. It aims to keep us safe from sex offenders who might be living next to our door.

Loans & Collaterals

Everytime hubby and I would chat, we always touch base on the things we want to buy or we want to happen. One of those is to bring our kids in Hongkong Disneyland during summer vacation. He also encourage me to enroll in driving school because he made a promise he will buy me a car. However, these are not possible at this time. The completion of the finishing touches of our house is our prioprity. I know in time, we will be able to accomplish all our goals especially now that there are a lot of ways to get help. Have you heard about Auto Title Loans?

Auto Title Loans may be used as your collateral in applying for loan. The maximum loan amount varies, but is generally no greater than 80 percent of the value of your vehicle. The application process can be completed in less than one hour and you can even pick up the funds the same day. Even if you have bad credit you can get an auto title loan. Further, if you happen to have Auto Title Loans Hayward or Auto Title Loans Fresno , the percentage or chances of your loan application to get approve is very high.

Yummy Moments in Cebu

The best part when we were in Cebu is whenever Pao and I will go to Ayala Center Cebu for lunch or dinner. We are confused as to which resto to dine or have lunch. After heavy meal, we'll do some walking so that our stomach will have space for desserts. I am sharing the photos of the mouthwatering food we feasted on while in Cebu. Enjoy viewing them.

Dinner in Lemon Grass, a Vietnamese & Thai Resto. My first time to try Pad Thai & Thai iced tea

Dinner in Casa Verde Restaurant. I ordered "The Dax" that consists of steak & shrimps while Pao relished the Barbecue Ribs. We also had potato skin for appetizer.

Blueberry muffin for me and chocolate cake for Pao from a coffee shop in NAIA.

Blueberry cheesecake and Achocolypse cake for me & Pao respectively. This was from Dessert Station in Ayala Center Cebu. We were in heaven after eating these irresistable desserts.

The Hanging Cabinets I like

I was browsing Friendster few days back and I got to see the photos of the different parts of the house of my friend residing in Abra province. The only finishing touch lacking is the painting, the same thing in my own house. I fell in love with the hanging cabinets installed in her kitchen. I ask my friend where she got those cabinets and she told me she bought them in home builder store in their province and she assured me there are exactly the same hanging cabinets available in our place too because she make time to canvass for materials & furnitures everytime she's here in Pampanga.

I always surf the net to look for the design I like for my hanging cabinets in my kitchen and I stumpled upon Orlando Cabinets. They have wide array of designs to choose from. I want mine to be made of wood and if time would come I can afford to buy such, I know what to look for and if in case I would hire somebody to create one for me, I won't have a hard time describing it, in fact I have saved in my computer the picture of the hanging cabinet I really like for my kitchen. I already told my hubby about it and he agreed it will make my kitchen look beautiful.

eBook Search Engine

I'm not a bookworm but I read a few number of books in the past and there are still other books I want to read like Tuesdays with Morrie, Men are from Mars : Women are fom Venus, however, due to busy schedules and budget, I can not afford to buy those books and finish reading them. But the good news is, there is now such a thing called electronic books or ebook for short, and if you happen to forget the title of the book you want to read, simply use Search for any book on eBook Search Engine. This search engine may find the book even if you don't remember the exact title because it uses the text of the book too. Most of the books are in pdf format.

Property Management

I was watching news earlier and the highlight of the news is storm signal number two named Feria. It is expected to hit Manila tonight between 9 to 11pm. I hate it when it rains. It’s such a hassle to go out of the house to work. Also, the roof in our comfort room located in the extended kitchen leaks especially during heavy rains. I’m looking at the entirely of our house and I realized I needed huge amount of money for its painting and to figure out the cause of leaks in the comfort room. I realized too the importance and advantage of hiring property preservation specialists to maintain the beauty of the house especially if there is plan to sell it in the future. I think rich people hires property management and won’t mind spending extra money for it as long as the maintenance and development of their property is ensured to add maket value to it.

Accor Hotels

The hotel that we were billeted in Cebu City is called Golden Peak Hotel, it’s a 21 storey building located near Ayala Center Cebu. The bellboy & the driver who fetch us in Mactan airport are friendly and were smiling at us as we approached them. I like the rooms that was given to us, tidy and big enough for two people and I love the free breakfast buffet that came with the hotel package our company has chosen for us.

On the same note, Cebu Pacific and Philippine airlines are giving out affordable rates to encourage more passengers especially Cebu Pacific and sometimes the rates are unbelievably cheap and no wonder why a lot of my officemates have already been to Singapore, Bangkok, Hongkong & Macau. After grabbing an airline promo and booked a flight, then next thing you pay attention to is the hotel or accommodation while visiting the neighboring countries. Our manager have given me an idea about Accor hotels. I told her before that hubby and I would want to go to Bangkok, Thailand as our anniversary to ourselves.

Incidentally, Accor has a promo called “Accor Hotels City Super Sale”. Hotel rates in 27 cities across 10 countries in Asia Pacific are being reduced in Accor's new "City Super Sale"

Travelers will be able to take advantage of savings of up to 60% when they book on-line between 23 - 29 June, for stays between July 10 and September 30, 2009. Over 250,000 room nights will be on sale, with rates starting as low as US$25 per night. This great deal is simply irrisistable however, this promo is for limited time only.

A productive & enjoyable Cebu Trip

It's been over a week since my trip in Cebu. I've been trying to find time to blog about it but I'm not yet in the mood to do so until tonight though I already uploaded the photos in my friendster account. Finally after more than 30 years, I experienced to ride a plane, FUNNY but TRUE. One thing I regret in my life is not giving myself a chance to tour the Philippines and perhaps visit other countries and get to know different cultures. As I have mentioned in my previous post, the fartherst place I've been to in the Philippines is Baguio. I frequent this place when I was still single while working for an insurance company. We hold our conferences usually in the Summer Capital of the Philippines.

Going to Cebu for a business trip is a big deal to me but I had second thought 'coz I worried about my kids and their schooling but I guess the Cebu trip is really meant for me. The start of classes was re-scheduled week after my Cebu trip due to rains and AH1N1 issues. Another thing, Pao was task to join me. Pao is a fellow Analysts and a friend. We love to eat, giggle & laugh loud. It's also Pao's first time in Cebu and ride a plane...hmmm, I smell adventure.

June 10 was the scheduled trip. The company driver dropped us off to NAIA at 6:30am but our flight is at 12:00nn. Yes, we patiently waited for almost 6 hours because we have no other choice. The company driver still have other employees to pick up from other branch of the company within Manila. We spent time talking, eating, roaming around the terminal as if it was a mall and taking power naps. We checked in our luggage at 10:am and at exactly 12nn we're off to Queen City of the South via Cebu Pacific flight 5J 567. I was feeling okay since the plane's take off and after it landed, that's something I like about myself, I don't get dizzy or feeling nauseaous everytime I travel, whether by land or by air. I'm just not so sure if it's an international flight at a minimun of 6 hours. However, my friend Pao had a migraine attack but it was for a short moment.

We arrived at Mactan airport 30 minutes earlier than expected. Good thing the hotel driver assigned to fetch us is already waiting for us. He drove us straight to the hotel. We had time to unpack our stuff and rest. It was graveyard shift for 2 nights in Cebu office. The QA talk which is our main purpose for going there was a success! Our office in Cebu City is located in IT Park near Waterfront Hotel and it's like Makati with buildings around and there are other establishments under construction. On the ground floor you will find Starbucks, Jollibee, KFC and the likes. You will go home empty pocket every payday if you don't know how to budget your money.

We didn't have time to visit the tourist spots in Cebu like Magellan Cross and the Sto Nino Church, it was purely business. We enjoyed the Ayala Center Cebu and have good meal in different restos inside, the yummy moments will never be forgotten. Of course, a trip to Cebu wouldn't be complete without going to Ta-boan to buy danggit, pusit and dried mangoes. We were warned by some fellow Analysts who did a QA talk in Cebu prior to us to go to Ta-boan before taking a bath. We also brought home lechon Cebu for our family.

On our way home (still via Cebu Pacific), there are so many expats in the same flight and I noticed one female attendant being extra nice & attentive to foreigners. Also, I'm a bit disappointed instead of giving free snacks to passengers, the attendants will roll the cart and sell breads, chips & drinks with 100% mark up value...goodness!!! We landed in DMIA (Diosdado Macapagal International Airport) in Clark. It was a super safe trip.

The travel and visit to Cebu was an experience and I'm glad to share that with a good friend Pao. The trip de stressed and rejuvenated me. Hopefully there will be next time.

Multiplayer Games

I noticed my kids are fond of playing games online but I honestly don't know the specific games they play, as long as it's wholesome, no problem with me. Most of the time, I usually hear farmtown in Facebook and one time while my daughter Acey is busy playing games online, I looked at the PC monitor and was amazed she's playing and at the same time chatting with some players.

During our trip to Cebu, the company driver dropped us at NAIA domestic airport at 6:30am but our trip is at 12nn believe it or not, so we have to wait for 5 hours for our flight. How I wish we were bringing laptop at that time and airport is WIFI ready so we could try multiplayer games, while waiting for 12nn to strike.

Dream House

Last December, my friend Wheng and her family visited me in our newly constructed house. She admired me and my husband for being able to produce a simple house we can call our own. She attempted to avail of housing loan in financing companies everytime she finds lot property for sale which she thinks affordable. However, financing firms will not grant or approve the amount she needed and worst, an equity is still required. A few weeks back, she emailed me to inform me she gave up the idea of continuing her goal of having her own house, she said it is impossible at this time to push through with her plan. I feel her frustrations, I kept on encouraging her and referred her to my colleague Pao who happens to be a real estate broker. I also advised her to seek the help of Real Property Management.

Stock Trading

Our company would like to help us invest for the future which is why there were several housing, insurance and stock trading companies that visited our company site mainly to educate us about their products. For them, this is the best time to invest so that we have something to reap in the future when we retired and no longer capable of working. I can not recall the discussions about investing in stocks but I’m interested investing in it, if not now maybe in the near future, however, I would like to become knowledgeable about stock investments, Stock Trading and the likes. Fortunately, MySMP exists. Mysmp stands for My Stock Market Power! has been created to empower investors - beginners to advanced, with a place to learn winning stock trading, day trading and other trading strategies. MySMP is one of only 400 blogs in the Ad Network, has been featured on Yahoo and and is a content provider for

My husband and I was able to produce a house last year and our next goal is to save either through bank savings or stock investment. We want to make sure that when we get old, we have our own money to spend for vacation and medications. We do not want to depend on our kids because whether we like it or not, they will have their own family to take care of.

Summer Enrichment Program

I decided to transfer back CJ in Achievers School so that he and Acey will be in the same school. CJ took the entrance exam and was required to attend a one month summer program based on the result of the exam. Achievers School is more advance in terms of academics compared to CJ's former school which is Mary Immaculate School.

After one month of schooling, they had the Summer Enrichment program held last May 22 in SM Clark.

Today is back to regular schooling. My eldest CJ is in grade 4 while my youngest Acey is now a prep student. I made sure they have the same schedule which is 10am so that after my shift at night, I have enough time to prepare their school stuff including their assignments.

Rustic Furnitures

One time I was cleaning our masterbedroom and I realized it’s about time to replace the king size bed my hubby and I have been using for 11 years. I prefer a queensize bed this time so there will be space for side tables to where I can place scented candles, picture frame and lampshades. Sometimes I have problem sleeping and it gives me restless feeling and so I believe a dramatic transformation of our room will help resolve my sleeping problem. Changes would mean new bed and lampshades and I want to try rustic furniture. I see lot of beds made of wood whenever I roam around in the furniture section of department stores, physically they look appealing but one major consideration when I buy furniture is the quality. It should be something that will last for decades.

Good news! The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corp. raised the insurance coverage of bank deposits from 250,000 pesos (US$182,88) to 500,000 pesos (US$36,577). This is to give depositors peace of mind and avoid mass withdrawal which happened recently when some Philippine Banks usually rural banks claimed bankruptcy due to global economic recession.

Depositors should be aware of anything involving their money in the bank like insurance deposit coverage, time deposit rates including bank CD rates to avoid financial mismanagement.

Drive Safely

Famous actor and endorser Richard Gutierrez had an accident last May 22 where he and another companion had minor injuries while his long time personal assistant named Nomar died on the spot. It was said that Richard was driving his 7 million sports car when the accident happened. One reason that caused the accident was because the matinee idol was unfamiliar with the place and maybe he was tired from the taping.

It was a traumatic experience for Richard but life must go on. I believed he started accomplishing his usual showbiz commitments and coping well after the accident with the support of his family and friends.

Car enthusiasts should learn from this accident. Always drive safely especially if you are with your loved ones. More importantly, make sure to check the car like the steering rack , it should be in the best condition especially when engaging in long drive.

Furniture Wishlist

I did a house general cleaning this morning. I want to make sure that everything is in order before my Cebu business trip. At first I do not know where to dump the old text books of my kids until I saw the small side cabinets in our living room with 3 layer shelves. I still placed them in the living room temporarily ‘til I have the money to buy Living Room Furniture probably before end of this year.

We just got back home from SM Clark. While my companions are busy doing the grocery, I decided to roam in the furniture section of SM Hypermarket and there I saw a console table and bed frame I am dying to have. I also plan to replace my kid’s drawer with Walt Disney design. I will definitely save for all these stuff but they’re part of my wishlists for now.

Wedding & Pregnancy

I am not a fan of local actress Judy Ann Santos but I admire the way she kept her "silent wedding " with her long time boyfriend Ryan Agoncillo away from the public and the press or media to achieve a solemn & peaceful wedding. Only people really close to them were invited and the principal sponsors consisted of low profile individuals. I can't help but compare Juday's wedding with that of Ruffa Gutierrez. The latter had the grandest wedding every girl will dreamed of. High profiled celebrities and politicians were present but sad to say, Ruffa's marriage didn't last. Now her petition for annulment is on going in Turkey. She also filed full custody of her kids, Lorin & Venice.

I hope Judy Ann started a trend through her "Silent Wedding style". Now they are working on having a baby to complete the family. Talks about her infanticipating spread in the newspapers are all untrue and false alarm. I suggest that she read books and surf the net to get tips about natural way to get pregnant.

First ever Cebu visit

I will be going to Cebu with my fellow QA Analyst Pao on Wedenesday next week. Yes, you read it right, this is going to be my first time in the Queen City of the South and believe it or not, this is the farthest place I've ever been to within the Philippines. It's going to be purely business trip but of course Pao and I will find time to visit the ever famous Magellan's cross and the Sto. Nino Church and we will be able to plan ahead after we receive the final itinerary on Monday. Originally, this should have happened last month and I agreed to go while kids are on vacation even if it means I will have no companion but due to delays on the final budget, it was moved this month and fortunately Pao will be joining me.

Our manager made sure that part of the service in the hotel we will be billeted is the transfer service. She took into consideration this is our first trip to Cebu and for all of us to have peace of mind, we requested the hotel driver to pick and drop us in the Cebu airport and if that is not possible, we will avail of car rentals just like the cheap car hire for faro airport in UK. But we are more than willing to take a cab going to and from the hotel and our Cebu office to make it more thrilling and be familiarized with the place.

Tomorrow is my day off and I'll make sure that my kids are ready for their back to school drama at the same time, I'll start packing to make sure everything I need is in my luggage.

Happy weekend everyone!

Where to get help about skin problems

My sister in law residing in Chicago Illinois have been giving me tips on how to have good skin and slimmer body and I guess she is credible in sharing such tips. I commend her for maintaining an ideal weight for her age and young looking skin as well. I kidded if she is a regular client of Lakeview dermatology and undergone laser hair removal in chicago due to her unbelievable hairless & smooth skin especially her legs.

Belo Medical Group and Calayan Surgi Center are two of the famous beauty clinic all over the Philippines. Our local & famous celebrities are usually their client & endorsers at the same time. It is easier for people to believe in the service & products of both beauty clinics whenever they see impressive physical improvement of their endorsers.

On the same note, Lakeview dermatology is a leading dermatology clinic in the Chicago area specializing in laser acne treatment, hair removal treatment, liposuction, Restylane treatment and other skin care treatments. They provide treatments to many skin conditions as well as cosmetic, medical and surgical treatments. Lakeview Dermatology is led by Dr. Eugene Mandrea and Dr. Steven Mandrea and located in Park Ridge - Chicago Illinois.

If I have the means, I'll invest in achieving a smooth, spotless & creamlike complexion, because if you have good skin, you look tidy, fresh and everything follows.

So Pretty

I stumbled upon a picture of hollywood actress Rachael Leigh Cook, I actually saved it. This is the type of beauty that I really like. Forever young looking and innocent. However, when I look at her other pictures in the web, it's not as pretty as this one. Oh well, sometimes we look different on a various photos.

Digg to discover more

Today's modern technology allow people to discover so many things such as movies, games, places, food etc. One day I checked my mailbox and was quiet surprise with an email confirming the registration of my kids in an online game. I told my kids to use the internet to reaserch about their assignment in school.

The value of internet is making our life easier. Just like what I have mentioned above, you can further research about the assignment of your kids. In my case, I look for recipes online especially when I expect friends or relatives planning to come over to our house. Most importantly, constant communication with my hubby who works abroad.

And my latest discovery in the world of internet is Digg, it is a place for people to discover and share content from anywhere on the web. Everything is on Digg, from news to videos to images and I can become a contributor in their community too plus I get the chance to discuss the topics I am passionate about with other members of the community. Also available in Digg is voip service

I have to go for now to digg about the latest in Hayden Kho's video scandal.

Small Business Loans

One of my teammates have informed me that our government established an entity named TESDA to provide scholarships to people within a certain community such as commercial cooking, baking & pastry, dress making and a lot of others intended for male scholars. Baking & pastry is the up coming course in our place and I really wanted to take advantage of this rare opportunity, however, my work schedule would not permit me to enrol in the said course, especially that kid's schooling will start second week of June. I suddenly envisioned myself that after taking a 7 week baking & pastry course, I'll start baking for sale and eventually put up my own bakeshop business. I will also seek the help of Small Business Loans for financial assistance. If you are looking for fast approval loans, Small Business Loans is the answer.

As early as now, some future presidential candidates have confirmed their intent to run either for President or Vice President and as early as now you will see on TV their advertisement to relay their platforms. SubDelicious Day

Last May 7 my teammates at work decided to eat in SubDelicious pizza house located in Fields Avenue in Balibago Angeles, right after our shift (we work GY shift). A lot of teams from different department in our company would order pizza in that pizza house for delivery especially during team buildings. We ordered the Manager's choice package that consists of the following:

refreshing iced tea

super large pizza good for 6-8 person

a must try buffalo chicken w/ blue cheese

Skin Potato with melted mozzarella cheese (not part of the Manager's Choice).

It was a great morning to bond with teammates whom you consider friends.
It was a perfect way to release stress from everyday work.
We will definitely eat out again and do some bonding moments like this.

Amazing benefits of Direct TV

I’m a TV person and every Sunday I’m glued on my favorite show ASAP’09. But there are times I get bored with the said program especially when it’s replay and I realized it is better if I am subscribed to direct tv. Direct TV uses the most advanced satellite technology with over 265 channels to choose from and more than 130 national channels in brilliant high definition. As a working mom, I deserve to relax and get entertained especially on my days off and I guess this is one of the objective of Directtv to it’s consumers which is why they came up with various programming packages that would mean big savings!

Child Custody

Actress TV host Ruffa Gutierrez have filed petition for full custody of her two daughters, Lorin & Venice. It can be remembered that the wedding of Ruffa Gutierrez and Yilmaz Bektas was labeled as wedding of the year. Famous people from showbiz & politics gathered for the said occassion and Ruffa was pregnant with Lorin at that time and Venice followed before Lorin celerated her first birthday.

They were a picture of a perfect family for a while, however, some good things never last. The separation of Ruffa & Yilmaz was quite a controversy, showbiz reporters feasted on the issue until it subsided. Now that Ruffa realized there is no chance for reconciliation, she filed for annulment and full custody of their children.

If I were in the shoe of Ruffa, I will do the same, to file full custody of my kids and if it happens I am not financially capable to do such, I would seek the help of lawsuit loans.

Anylawsuits aims to provide at providing the required funds that would help finance the ongoing lawsuit. For further info, visit You Want To Win Your Child Custody Case

The best source for auto a/c compressor

I find the weather really weird and unpredictable here in the Philippines, maybe this has something to do with Global Warming. One time, after my graveyard shift I went home raining and the weather is cold and is conducive for sound sleep. I was surprised as soon as I as step into our house, the rain suddenly stopped and the sun came out.

I could not imagine myself inside a car in the middle of the scorching heat of the sun unless the aircondition is working well so I can travel comfortably. I always remind my bother to ensure that our vehicle is in perfect condition like the auto A/C compressor or diesel fuel pump whenever the whole family is scheduled to travel somewhere like Subic Bay. Discount compressor is the best source for automotive ac compressor and offer the lowest price on a/c compressor, condenser, drier and much more.

Nothing beats hassle free family travel.

For Goodluck

Last Christmas, I gave two of my sister in law Buddha figurines. They were happy about it and excited to bring it in their respective house. I promised I’m gonna give them Chinese goodluck stuff every Christmas and they love that idea!

In March, my friends have given me a bracelet to bring goodluck in my life. It has a tiger (because I was born in that animal year) & Buddha figure in it and some ball stones with Chinese characters. They’re aware of my problem in finances so they thought the bracelet would help in a little way. Since then, I’ve been receiving remittances from relatives and I would say that the Chinese bracelet works for me.

I have saved an email regarding Feng Shui that talks on how you can arrange your house to bring in goodluck so I would know what to do in my own house. I tried to follow some of them. I may not be 100% believer of Feng Shui but it won’t make me any harm if I try it.

My favorite celebrity host Kris Aquino consulted a Feng Shui expert before the construction of her huge and big budgeted house and recently, she met another Feng Shui expert who advised her to revise the position of her kitchen and without having second thought, she spent millions for the kitchen reconstruction alone. But look at her now, her career continue to flourish and every show she has is a top rater.

Now, if you are in the process of building house or business, you may wanna try visiting Feng shui for wealth and prosperity and include some of the Feng Shui tips when finalizing the project.

Be nice to Pets

Me and my family are not pet lovers eversince. We had a dog when I was in grade six but died and since then we did not attempt to take care of any kind of animal. And when we moved to our new house, my brother brought home a mini pinscher whom we named “Bornok”. The dog is well behave and he’s close to my dad and my brother because they are the one who prepare his food and in charge of his grooming.

The kids in the house especially Acey used to be afraid of animals particularly dogs but they overcome that with fear with animals eversince Bornok came in the house.
It saddens me to see other people’s cruelty to animals but on the other hand, there are some people who take effort to organize a team in defense of animal rights. I really think we should be nice to animals of any kind, they are also God’s creations like trees we see around and lets support group such as Wilmington NC Real Estate who help rescue homeless animals from the humane society they support.

Lose Weight with LapBand

Days before the holy week last week, I started buying fruits particulary apples and pears and made vegetable salad because I wanted to do some fasting in observance of the holyweek and for the purpose of losing weight. However, I couldn’t suppress myself from eating rice and viands prepared by my mom and I couldn’t resist the refreshing halo halo and banana syrup top with crushed ice and evaporated milk. I really think it is impossible for me to lose weight if I continue to lack commitment and determination.

I’ve heard about lap band surgery from other blogs. Lap-Band surgery is a type of weight loss surgery that, like gastric bypass, alters the anatomy of the stomach to help you reduce food intake. I kept on saying I won’t resort to surgery just to lose weight and since I’m having difficulty to lose weight the natural way, if I happen to have the money, I’m willing to undergo lapband surgery to be done by trusted & lapband top surgeons especially after reading lap band testimonials. Little Ms. Awardee

I forgot to blog about the academic achievement of my daughter Acey. She was awarded "with highest honor" last March 29,2008 for getting an average grade of 92 plus. She surpassed what she accomplished last year (she was awarded with high honor). I always say that I will never pressure any of my kids to excel academically, all I want is for them to learn what they needed to learn in school, I give priority to life's values that the school would inculcate to my kids and in all their students.

Acey worked hard for the award on her own and I was not surprise when I learned she got "with highest honor" based from the result of her exams. Believe it or not, she did not ask anything in return like she used to simply because she understand the financial status of the family.

I am so proud of my little daughter not only because of her academic achievement but because of the maturity she demonstrate at a very young age.

"To my little daughter Acey, you made us proud! Me & your Dada and your kuya CJ love you so much".

BusinessCom, the best Satellite Internet Provider

When I was in primary level at grade 2 to be specific, my father worked abroad and the only means of communication at that time was through voice tape and snail mail and it takes a week or less before the voice tape or the mail reaches my father.

Now my husband is in Qatar and I am thankful with the technology that we have now. We can talk & see him at the same time through voice chat. We have constant communication and the kids doesn’t feel that their Dad is miles away. However, there are times that our internet provider doesn’t work for reasons I don’t know and it’s such a hassle to contact the customer service and complain about the unexpected disconnection and worst, this happens despite paying on time.

I remember my uncle telling me about satellite dish, something becoming famous in other countries. By just having satellite dish installed on your roof, you will have access to cables and internet without paying monthly.

Speaking of satellite internet, Businesscom is a leading global Satellite Internet provider with a vision & mission to continue improving in providing satellite internet and hire manpower with enough skills and expertise in the field of satellite internet connection. Moreover, Businesscom is committed to bring its incomparable service all over the world like South Africa and Middle East to where my husband is currently assigned.

The Uniqueness of BuyYourCar

I bet a lot of people like me would want to have their own car to drive. In my case, though I have no qualms commuting and bringing my kids along, still, it will be convenient to drive my own car whenever we visit relatives or attend family occasions. However, I am clueless determining the best car to choose in case I can afford one. Fortunately there are online car portal to visit like to help me out. allows consumers to search and enquire on New Cars, Used Cars, car leasing, Contract Hire and Van Leasing and even compare offers across all of these purchase routes. even supplies independant Car Reviews and links to competitive loans and insurance, this is why is unique compared to other online car portal.

Family Reunion 2009

The annual Dizon Family reunion was held yesterday. This is the time we bond with our relatives on my father side and we usually do it on Black Saturday yearly . My father and his siblings take turns in hosting the event and this time we were task to take care of the reunion, it’s sort of welcoming the relatives in the newly built house of my parents and also mine. The whole family planned it so well. Me & my mom contacted a caterer, my brother was in charge of the tables & chairs plus the karaoke. My sister in law thought of the parlor games and made sure there are prizes for winners while my father ensured that relatives are well informed of the time and date of the reunion. At 5pm, visitors started coming in, each family are bringing in food they personally cooked to add to the catered food we have on the table. Yours truly hosted the entire program that started at exactly 6pm. Young and adults participated in the games. The hephep hurray wherein the concept was from WoWoWee, we chose the elderly to do the game while Maria Went to Town has 2 competing group, each group consist of 4 females & 1 male participants. The girls will transform the boy into BeBe Gandanghari, both games was definitely a hit. The game participants & the whole crowd were laughing out loud. The event ended at 9:30pm.
Organizing event such as family reunion can be stressful but with teamwork, there’s no room for failure. But the one we organized last night was a huge success. Everybody went home happy. The purpose of the reunion was executed that evening.
Pictures to follow.

Furniture Finds

When hubby and I got married, the very first item we bought was a bed which up to now is something that we use. Hubby told me to replace it since we’ve been using it for over 10 years and naughtily said that CJ & Acey were made on that bed. But it’s not easy for me to let go of that bed, like any typical Filipina wife, that bed has a sentimental value. On the second thought, especially now that we’re living in our new house, I realized it’s about time we change bed. Hubby and I agreed on buying a bed made of log or wood, like those we see on magazine, furniture house and internet such as Scenic Furnitures offers log furniture such as bed with different designs, you can be assured beds made of log from scenic furniture is sturdy and can last a lifetime.

Payday Loans is the answer

The company where my husband is currently working was hit by global financial crisis. Right now, they are inconsistently receiving salary. I can’t help but get worried because it’s going to be my kid’s enrollment third week of April. I do not want to bother my husband about this matter even if I know this is a shared responsibility. I want to free him from any stress. One thing can help me resolve this problem is Payday Loans, I know this is the only way and I am sure I am eligible to avail of their services as I am an employee with regular salary. My kids’ education is our top priority, I don’t mind resorting to borrowing cash from Payday Loans that provides short term loans, to be able to send my kids to school continuously.

Picture Perfect

One of the reasons why I keep on visiting a certain blog is because of a post backed up with captivating pictures. Usually food blogs contain the step by step procedure on how the food is being prepared and cooked and of course it includes a picture of the final product. The food in the picture becomes more appetizing and appealing to readers when it’s taken using high end cameras but the good news is you don’t need to have an expensive camera to produce better quality pictures, Acobox is the answer.

Acobox collects, screens, and hosts quality pictures for bloggers. All images are properly license, optimized for blog. For adding a picture to blog post, what blogger needs to do is simply copying and pasting a piece of image code, without downloading, resizing, uploading the image file. It's simple, easy, and free!

Favorite Scent

My sister gave me Clinic Happy perfume in Christmas 2007. She asked me what Christmas gift I want and I told her Clinic Happy or GAP Blue perfume. The latter was not available at the time she was in the mall to shop. I love the fresh and distinct smell of Clinic Happy.

On the same note, I've given my hubby a Lacoste perfume last Christmas that I bought from an officemate, however, when hubby opened the said perfume he knew right away it was fake and when he sprayed it on his wrist, it was confirmed that it was fake. Lesson learned, when you buy products 50% cheaper than it's original prize, chances are, you are buying something that's imitated and a copy cat!

My Clinic Happy perfume is almost empty and I am eyeing for a Dolce & Gabbana, my hubby is aware of that already.

Happy Birthday Dada!

My hubby turned a year older yesterday. We had spaghetti, pizza pandesal and Banana Tiramisu (I made this Saturday night). The pizza pandesal was a hit with my kids. I'm gonna share pictures of the food we had once I'm done uploading them. After having that sumptuous afternoon snack, I attended an afternoon Sunday mass together with the kids, afterwards, we visited John's aunt who'm we haven't seen for couple of months now. We then proceeded to Robinson's Supermarket, while busy completing the grocery items, John called and asked me to go online for a chat, so there, we were able to talk to the celebrant.

To my dearest John,

I'm glad to know you visit and read my blog and I'm sure you're gonna read this one of these days...

Happy birthday to you. I wish you happiness, continued blessings and good health especially now that you are miles away.

Keep in mind I will remain to be your loyal better half even if life turns bitter and perfectly understand and accept your imperfections.

Again, happy birthday. Me and your kids love you so much.

You Changed My life

Yes, I've watched the film " You Changed My Life" with my daughter Acey last Saturday in Robinson's Cinema. It was a mother-daughter bonding time. We enjoyed the said movie immensely. I saw my girl smiling and giggling whenever Migs & Laida (played by John Llloyd & Sarah Geronimo respectively) would tease each other and exchange sweet nothings. This sequel is a lot better than "A Very Special Love". I commend the director of the movie Cathy Garcia-Molina who consistently live up to the expectations of the film viewers like me. Movies such as this can easily entice me to get up from bed early even if I lack sleep due to graveyard shift.
