Unforgettable Saturday with Friends

Me and my friends had a bonding time again last Saturday, April 05. It’s actually a post birthday celebration of Josielyn. I was on graveyard shift last Friday and went home past 7am, Saturday. After 3 hours of sleep, I got up and headed to the shower room. I left the house at 1pm but instead of going directly to Josielyn’s place to meet the girls, I decided to drop at Robinson’s Mall to buy gift for the birthday girl. I bought a shirt for Josielyn and a bench flipflop for myself.

Michelle and I came at Josielyn’s house almost at the same time(around 2pm) and after less than 30 minutes, Marlyn arrived. We had late lunch, pork & chicken caldereta and crabs cooked with delicious sauce were on top of the table, truly irresistible!

We went to SM Clark and watched SupahPapalicious. The movie was hilarious. It’s one of the funniest movie I’ve ever seen. Vhong Navarro and Makisig were equally great in the said movie. All the cast threw their punchlines with perfect timing. Valerie Concepcion is undeniably beautiful and sexylicious. The movie started at 4:40 pm and lasted for nearly 2 hours so we left SM at 6pm and headed to Wishing Well for dinner.

Wishing Well, the ultimate KTV & Resto is a family business managed by Josielyn’s hubby and it’s pretty new. While waiting for our orders, we toured the whole place and took a peek at their KTV rooms. The wishing well at the entrance attracts the customer. Simply drop a coin and state your wish. Of course, we took several shots and modeled the new KTV & resto. There are affordable KTV rooms perfect for family celebrating birthdays, couples just dating or group of people who wants to have a good time. Moreover, they have singers to entertain the guest at the grill place which will make you decide to stay longer. I will definitely recommend the place to my officemates.

We had crispy nilasing na hipon, perfectly tenderized pork barbecue, sizzling squid sisig and mouth watering chicken cordon blue. I ordered pineapple juice but Melvin (Josielyn’s husband) recommended their iced tea and it tasted different and wonderful. He refused to tell us how they do their iced which is logical because it is not proper for any business to reveal trade secrets. All in all, we relished the delectable main course. After eating and listening to the peformers for a little while, we tried one of their KTV rooms.

Me and my friends had a blast that night. The 8 hours Michelle consumed traveling from Abra province to Pampanga was all worth it. I didn’t mind having 3 hours of sleep only, what’s stuck on my mind is the exhilaration felt everytime I’m with my loyal friends.

We plan to meet again for my birthday next month but this time, we’ll do it in Fontana Resort with our kids.

Wow, seems like you had an amazing day. Wished I had as much fun as you did though, our lives here in Russia, as medical students studying in a foreign land... is pretty much boring, haha...

Have a nice week ahead!
