Yes, it's true that the internet is alot convenient. Especially on rainy days, you can shop online without getting wet. Here in the US, most business is now done over the internet. I just purchased car insurance online and I am now viewing and paying bills online instead of springing for a $0.41 stamp and writing out a check. Sometimes, your payment won't even make it there on time. So, I've decided to do these things online I love shopping online to avoid the lines at the checkout counters in the stores. Especially when there is a new product coming out on a certain day. You can even purchase in advance and even reserve DVD's, CD's, etc. before they are even released. But, there is a hitch. I'm sure you've heard of PayPal. I just got a message from them that some 3rd party user had accessed my account and made a purchase. They asked me so many questions to be sure that I'm the real person and luckily, things turned out well and I will be getting a full refund of $152 and some cents. It was a payment for a Skype bill and in Euro currency. First of all, I don't use Skype and it's not even on my computer. But most especially, I'm not in Europe or anywhere near there. I'm glad that they caught it right away before any major damage was done. Identity theft is a big problem here in the US and it can ruin your life if you are victimized. So, I just encourage you to ensure that your computer has all the Firewall and other protection needed to prevent this from happening. I had just purchased a new computer and don't have everything set up yet. That's probably what happened. Anyway, all's well that end's well.
